Since the announcement of CS2 on the 22nd of March Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) playerbase has grown rapidly. CS:G0 hit an all-time high of 1,802,853 concurrent players on May 6, 2023. This is a significant increase from the game's previous record of 1,519,457 concurrent players, which was set on March 26, 2023. We wanted to contextualise the games rapid growth, so we created a series of infographics showing how CSGO's peak concurrent players and monthly unique active players have changed over time. We have also highlighted a few big updates to CSGO that may have influenced the games growth during its lifetime.
